As a Health Leads Advocate, you'll be interacting with individuals and families one-on-one and following up with them to ensure that their basic resource needs are met. You'll be working alongside fellow Advocates as well as full time staff - a Program Manager and Program Associate, who will train and support you in this work throughout the semester. You will be part of a social needs team at West County Health Center, you will interact with Promotoras, African American Health conductors, along with doctors, nurses and other health care professionals. Finally, you will have the opportunity to be part of an awesome network of advocates who are interested in giving back to their local community.

This is an opportunity for members to give back to our community as well as enhance your professional development skills and network with current advocates and other community members from throughout the country who are passionate about health and social justice.
