If you have a passion for animals and a love for the natural world, a volunteer position at the National Aquarium could be right for you!

Animal Care volunteers work behind the scenes handling insects, fish, shrimp and squid for feeding of the Aquarium’s animals; recording dietary data; cleaning enclosures; and joining in on occasional special projects. Current open positions include: Animal Rescue, Marine Mammals, Animal Programs, Aquarist, Aviculture, Herpetology and Horticulture. For a detailed listing of positions and to apply, please visit National Aquarium - Volunteer. Volunteers are required to commit to a regular shift for one year.
