Open Avenues Foundation leverages top global talent to lead university students in experiential learning within their field of expertise.

As a Web Development Field Expert, you will lead university students in web development-related projects designed to educate students and teach skills necessary to succeed in future careers. Field Experts at Open Avenues Foundation are experts in a STEM field and are part of a community focused on changing the narrative about immigrants in the United States.

Join Open Avenues Foundation's effort to equip and empower global talent to build the next generation of the American workforce and promote economic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading workshops and webinars for university students related to your field of expertise
  • Working with other Field Experts on experiential learning projects for students
  • 5-10 hours monthly, 6-month commitment

Qualifications:

  • Work experience in Web Development
  • Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Fluency in English
  • Past experience or desire to work with university students

We Provide:

  • Logistical support (booking rooms, event planning, etc.)
  • Opportunities to work with students from partnering Universities with an interest in your field of expertise

Description

Open Avenues Foundation facilitates foreign national-led programming that is designed to prepare local Boston university students for their future as professionals in STEM fields. By demonstrating their knowledge and expertise in a STEM field, foreign nationals take the initiative to flip the narrative and prove that they contribute to America's success.
