ORGANIZATION: RSVP of Snohomish County

  • 3 people are interested

Food Bank Board of Directors Member

The Concern for Neighbors Food Bank strives to lead our community in providing food and emergency assistance to those in need. Each week we serve ~110 families in the Brier, south Lynnwood, and Mountlake Terrace communities. We hope to find 1-2 prospective board members interested in giving back to their community in a valuable leadership role.

Board members are responsible for setting goals and policies to guide the organization, reviewing and approving budgets, contributing to strategic planning, representing the food bank in the community, and acting in the best interest of our clients and mission. There are seven two-hour board meetings per year and otherwise, board members serve as they are able. Strong written and verbal communications skills are desirable and relevant training can be provided.
