Adaptive Cycling Program
Arizona Disabled Sports is a non-profit in Mesa, Arizona providing adaptive sports and recreation for people with disabilities. Our long distance cycling program is for athletes with physical disabilities. The athletes in this program are high level athletes completing anywhere from 25-100 mile rides throughout the fall.
We are looking for experienced cyclist that are looking to help out our program and coaches during our Saturday programs. The support riders will ride with the athletes or be a pilot for a tandem cycle for someone who is blind.
Many of the athletes in this program are Veteran's who are still highly competitive, but for safety reasons we like to have additional volunteers on the rides. The season concludes with riding in tour de Tucson with our program.
Location does change throughout the season, to different rides of more difficulty.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
