Comfort Hospice Of Houston is always in need of Adults and Teen Volunteers to donate their time.

In hospice's goal of helping patients live their life among those who love them, most of our patients still live in their homes, or in a senior living residence.

There are numerous ways volunteers can help patients and families live life to the fullest. The amount of time you volunteer is your choice, and you are guided each step of the way with ongoing training and support from a volunteer coordinator.

If interested, call the Volunteer Coordinator (Clarice Jackson) at 832-786-4216. After completing an application, you will be contacted for a personal interview and will then be provided information concernig the process and when you'll be scheduled to attend a volunteer training session.

Opportunities

There are several different ways that you can become involved with Harmony Caress Hospice:

  • Offering companionship and support to our patients and their family members

  • Providing assistance with clerical duties within our office

  • Assisting in our bereavement department

  • Supporting special projects behind the scenes

  • Youth Volunteers (between the ages of 14-17) may volunteer to assist with the administrative duties within our office
