Race Volunteers: Big 5K Road Race at The Big E

The Big 5K Road Race& Scramble will take place on August 30, 2019. Volunteers are needed to direct runners and scramblers throughout the course. Volunteers will be stationed at various locations throughout the course.
All proceeds from the Big 5K Road Race will benefit agriculture and education youth activities at the Eastern States Exposition. For more information on the race, visit https://www.thebige.com/p/thingstodo/thebig5k
Volunteers Must:
- Be able to arrive to the Big E fairgrounds by 5:15pm on 8/30 for a brief orientation of duties
- Be able to stand for the duration of the race in unpredictable weather conditions
- Be enthusiastic and encouraging to runners of all ages and abilities
All volunteers will receive a Big E swag bag that includes a Big 5K t-shirt, an admission ticket to the 2019 Big E, a ticket to ride the yellow slide during the Big E, and more!

Description
The Eastern States Exposition includes Storrowton Village Museum, Storrowton Tavern, and annual the Big E fair.
