Love doggie games? Love bringing your canine to fairs, festivals, and breweries? Bark For Life of Northern Colorado is for you!

Celebrate cancer survivors, remember lost loved ones, and honor the caregiving qualities of canine companions, while raising money for the fight against cancer. Event date is October 3, 2020.

A few Yappy Hours will be held at local breweries in the months leading up to the event.

The committee will help plan the event and run the Bark For Life NOCO event with fun activities that can include:

  • Doggie games
  • Top dog and dress-up contests
  • Team and community fundraising
  • Music and food
  • Special dog and guest demonstrations by groups such as therapy, police, or rescue dogs.

Families and their dogs come together for a few hours during the day to honor the caregiving qualities of their canine "best friends" and cancer survivors.

Call Christy today at 970-350-5023 to join the committee!

Mission Statement

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Description

The American Cancer Society uses fund raising events including the Relay For Life to support our cancer fighting mission. We support this mission by providing cancer patients with programs that make their journey more managable, by lobbying our government to take action on cancer related issues, by being the second-leading financial backer of cancer research right behind the United States Government, and by educating the public about prevention and early detection.
