Do you enjoy singing or playing an instrument? Would you like to share your talent with others? You can make a difference in someone's life by providing music and song for people at the end of life. Compassus Hospice is seeking compassionate, caring volunteers to share the gift of music with our patients. Music can often impact a person like the spoken word cannot. If this opportunity speaks to your heart, contact Kim Iannacci at 978-777-8222 or email at Kimberly.Iannacci@compassus.com.

We provide all the training and support you will need to succeed and we look forward to meeting with you to discuss our opportunities!

Description

Compassus Hospice volunteers play a vital role in carrying out our mission to preserve each patient’s dignity while removing the fear associated with dying. Individuals who are 18 and older who are willing to share one to four hours per week are encouraged to apply to our program. Serving as a volunteer will enrich your own life in ways you can’t begin to imagine.

No previous experience in the medical field is necessary, and you will be prepared for your role with a free, comprehensive training program. This training will help you learn how to provide emotional support, companionship and respite care to patients and families.
