Calling all face painters and balloon twisters. We are in need of of ten (20) face painters and balloon twisters for our Carnival Fundraiser Sunday, September 5th from 10am to 4pm at Golden Gate Fields racetrack in Berkeley.
The community carnival is an annual fundraiser for City Horse. A small horse non-profit that connects students to horses throughout the Bay Area. Our students learn to ride and care for horses and a variety of animals while getting academic credit for doing so.
If you are an amateur or professional face painter or balloon twister, come volunteer with us and bring smiles to the faces of little boys and girls. If you are available for all or part of the event, please reply to the posting and connect with City Horse today. If you are not available for the entire event, please include the time you are available. please email us.
Also, the event will be outdoors and adhere to social distance and masking requirements.

CITY HORSE CONNECTS STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE BAY AREA WITH LOCAL HORSE STABLES IN THEIR AREA. STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE CITY HORSE PROGRAM AS AN ELECTIVE COURSE THROUGH THEIR SCHOOL AND RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT FOR LEARNING HORSEMANSHIP, GROOMING, NUTRITION AND BARN MANAGEMENT.
CITY HORSE ALSO PROVIDES OUT-OF-SCHOOL AND AFTER-SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT CAREERS AND LOCAL PROFESSIONALS WORKING IN AGRICULTURE, VETERINARY MEDICINE AND HORSEMANSHIP.
