Job Coach
Help someone with their job search. Become a Job Coach!

Sacramento Public Library's Isleton branch seeks a Job Coach to help patrons with a variety of questions dealing with job searching, resume writing, interview etiquette and any other concerns that they may have encountered while trying to find a job.

The qualified candidate should be able to help the job seeker create a resume from scratch, refine an existing resume, identify the appropriate resume format to use, set up an email account, develop a job search strategy, apply for positions online, and prepare for an interview.

The volunteer Job Coach will receive an orientation and training in the use of a library provided laptop and an introduction to the library's jobs and career online resources.

There is some flexibility with regards to the schedule. Knowledge of Spanish language preferable.
