Have you wondered about volunteering at the Peoria Riverfront Museum?

We will be having a tour and orientation for new and potential volunteers on Monday, July 22 at 10:00 in the museum lobby.

We are currently looking for adult and college age volunteers.

There are so many fun and interesting volunteer opportunities at the museum. We use volunteers at kids events and adult events, usually on the weekends. Volunteers help at movie events and in the gift shop. They help with managing our garden and doing paperwork. There are opportunities for volunteers to teach little science lessons to visitors on the weekends with our education carts and stream table. We use volunteer greeters at our welcome center, and we use volunteers to help with school groups. If you are interested in doing something at the museum, we can find a way to use you. And you can do just a few events, or become a regular volunteer.

If you are interested, but can't attend this training, contact Shelley Fritz at sfritz@peoriariverfrontmuseum.org or 645-9322.
