Vet to Vet Volunteer Program
Help fellow veterans on hospice feel appreciated by sharing service stories and experiences; helping staff members with pinning and medal presentations; help coordinate the replacement of lost medals.
Veteran Volunteers who work with Veterans on hospice offer unique opportunities that support life review and healing. They share a common language and share a cultural bond that opens doors of trust.
Volunteering with hospice takes no medical training or great commitment. The only thing you need is a compassionate heart and great listening skills.
