Mission Statement
The mission of The Huron River Watershed Council is to inspire attitudes, behaviors and economies that protect, rehabilitate and sustain the Huron River System.
Description
The Huron River Watershed Council is a coalition of Huron Valley residents, businesses and local governments established under Michigan's Local River Management Act. Services of the Council include hands-on citizen education, technical assistance in policy development and direct river protection projects.

- Volunteers are expected to commit to at least 8 sampling trips during the growing season (April through September). During each sampling trip, volunteers spend two hours in the field on average.
