Whether you're a master craftsman or have never picked up a hammer, volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity worksite is an exciting way to help local families build decent, affordable shelter.
When you volunteer in construction, you’ll see changes in a house, changes in the surrounding neighborhood, and changes within yourself. If that sounds like a great way to spend a day (or two, or three!), we’d love to talk with you about how to volunteer with Manatee County Habitat for Humanity.
We welcome individual volunteers, as well as groups of all kinds. Spending a day or even a few hours helping others can be a great team-building activity for a group from your workplace, church, family, club, or civic organization.
Interested? Get in touch with our Volunteer Engagement team at 941-748-9100 ext. 116 or cfrazer@manateehabitat.org.

Manatee County Habitat for Humanity is driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe place to live. People partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, Habitat empowers. To learn more, visit manateehabitat.org today.
