At Manatee County Habitat for Humanity, we build - but, swinging a hammer is not a requirement for volunteering. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us in our mission to make affordable housing a reality for hard-working families in Manatee County. Whatever your experience, stage of life, skill-set, or passion, there is a place for you here.
We welcome individual volunteers, as well as groups of all kinds. Spending a day or even a few hours helping others can be a great team-building activity for a group from your workplace, church, family, club, or civic organization. No experience necessary!
We specifically need help in the areas of volunteer engagement, administrative assistance, fundraising, community outreach, construction, advocacy, financial education, youth program, and resident leadership.
Interested? Get in touch with our Volunteer Engagement team at bslater@manateehabitat.org or at (941) 748-9110 ext. 110.

Description
Manatee County Habitat for Humanity is driven by the vision that everyone deserves a safe place to live. People partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, Habitat empowers. To learn more, visit manateehabitat.org today.
