Furry Freight Pre Owned Book Sale! We are at it again! August 17th we are hosting a pre owned book sale for 1 day! We are currently collecting donations of books for kids, tweens and adults for our sale, but we need your help! We will be setting up on Friday the 16th and will have the sale on Saturday the 17th. Please sign up for a shift if you can! Feel free to collect donations of books in good condition from your family and friends to bring to the sale! The wider variety, the better but no reference books please (dictionaries, old encyclopedias, etc.) The address is 241 SE Airpark Dr. Volunteer appreciation lunch will be provided both days! Mission Statement
The mission of Furry Freight Shelter Transport is to save lives by providing transport for dogs and cats from overpopulated areas to areas of high demand to reduce the euthanasia rate of adoptable pets.
Description
We are a small organization that started in 2018. Our main program is our shelter program where we transport dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters in California to shelters in the Pacific Northwest where they have the space. This program reduces euthanasia of adoptable pets and brings people and pets together in their new location.
