The Charm City Community Development Corporation, Inc. is looking for leaders like you to join our board of directors. Our volunteer board will be the strategic heart of our organization, ensuring that in our work for families and businesses, we deliver real results, respond to changes in our community and always deliver the highest ethical standards to be worthy of our public support.

Charm City Community Development Corporation, Inc.is a community economic development non-profit organization dedicated to building economically sound families and communities through workforce development family investment and support, business development and providing technical support and services to nonprofit organizations.

Our mission is to work in collaboration with communities, government, businesses, and educational institutions to empower individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency by strengthening access to jobs and income opportunities while building economically sound communities through small business development and other economic driven activities.

If you hold yourself to high expectations, then you’ll find board service very rewarding. We are looking for folks who will:

  • Attend nine board meetings
  • Actively serve on one of our committees: Program, Advocacy and Outreach, Promotions and Events, Governance
  • Advocate for our needs in the community and among your colleagues and peers
  • Be always curious to learn more about the fields of workforce and small business development as well as nonprofit governance
  • Make a personal, charitable contribution to CCCDC, to the best of their ability
