Provide business advice online.

Are you looking to use your professional talent and experience to give back to your local community? SCORE has the perfect opportunity for you! As a subject matter expert (SME), you’ll bring your specialized, deep experience to help small business owners achieve success.

Today’s entrepreneurs must master many functions to drive greater success and accelerate growth - from building world-class websites to bookkeeping and HR management. As a SCORE subject matter expert, you will leverage your industry experience or specific skill set to assist local business owners. In this role, you will co-mentor alongside one of SCORE’s certified mentors to provide free advice in your area of expertise.

Specialized topics in high demand include (but are not limited to): real estate; finance, accounting, human resources management, website design, social media, digital marketing, bookkeeping, government contracting, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, construction, healthcare, agriculture, and publishing.

Every year, our volunteers help thousands of entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of starting small businesses and achieving new levels of success. Business mentors are needed now more than ever as entrepreneurs are working to find the information, training, and resources that will help them stay open during the pandemic.

If you have a few hours to give per month, our SCORE clients will benefit from your knowledge. Please visit www.score.org/volunteer to learn more.
