Help the Friends of the Pearl Avenue Library earn money for children's programs by volunteering at the Summer Book Sale! Work all day from 9am to 4pm or you can work partial hours, just let us know. If you have friends who want to volunteer with you this one time, we have One Time Volunteer forms (including parent/guardian signatures for volunteers 13-17.)
To volunteer, go to www.sjpl.org and click on "Library Info," "Volunteers." Page down to "More Volunteer Opportunities" and page down to Pearl Avenue Library. Click on "Friends of the Library" and apply!

Description
Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
