With the extension of the Stay Home - Stay Healthy order, Green Kirkland volunteer stewardship events are on pause through at least May 31st.
While we miss gathering to celebrate spring with stewardship events, many Kirkland residents are finding a renewed appreciation for our parks and natural areas, and we look forward to sharing brighter times in the forest with you all again soon.
Feel free to contact us at greenkirkland@kirklandwa.gov if you would like more information about our program.
Join the Green Kirkland Partnership with the restoration of Edith Moulton Park and help save beautiful mature conifer trees while protecting critical stream habitat on Juanita Creek! This event will meet most Mondays in 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

No experience necessary, all ages welcome and all tools provided! Join us once or on an ongoing basis.
RSVP by emailing greenkirkland@kirklandwa.gov (note this email not monitored on Sundays)

Mission Statement
Our Mission is to restore and maintain healthy forested and natural parklands by building a supportive community that works together to protect Kirkland’s valuable natural resources for current and future generations. Achieving this involves training and supporting volunteers in restoration activities.
Description
The Green Kirkland Partnership is an alliance between the City of Kirkland, nonprofit partners, businesses and the community to restore almost 500 acres of natural parkland in the City. The majority of the restoration efforts are accomplished by our dedicated volunteers. These volunteers may join us just one time or volunteer again and again. It takes everyone to restore our natural areas!
