The Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College (MOAD MDC) and the Miami Downtown Development Authority are pleased to offer free admission from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the last Sunday of every month.

Also offered is a Free Family Program from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Each month is a hands-on educational activity designed with the whole family in mind, featuring artist-led workshops based off of current and past MOAD MDC exhibitions.

Volunteers are needed to assist the art instructor with the Free Family Program. Volunteers will help bring everyone's art projects to life, some set up and break down of the event, and other duties as assigned.

Volunteer service hours are offered for this position. If you are interested in assisting in other areas of the museum, such as Visitor Services, please let the Volunteer Coordinator know.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:

Shift: The volunteer shift is from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

Dress Code: It is suggested to wear comfortable jeans and a black T-Shirt that you do not mind getting possibly messy!

Location: MOAD is located inside the historic Freedom Tower, at 600 Biscayne Blvd. The art activities are held in the education space of MOAD, on the third floor of the building.

Parking: FREE PARKING is available at MDC Building 7, located at 500 NE 2nd Ave. Please tell the guards at the entrance to the parking garage that you are volunteering at MOAD in the Freedom Tower.

Entering the Tower: The Freedom Tower doors open promptly at 1:00 PM. If you arrive any earlier, there is a green door on the south entrance of the Tower with a "CALL" button. Please use this button or call 305-237-7700 for assistance in getting into the building.

Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) is Miami Dade College's flagship institution dedicated to the presentation and exhibition of visual art and design, housed within the National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College in Downtown Miami. MOAD MDC provides its patrons and visitors access to unique cultural, historical and educational exhibitions that enrich the greater community while building and preserving an expansive permanent art collection, Freedom Tower archives, and newly established design collection.
