Environmental Education Volunteers/Docents are a committed group of volunteers who receive additional training to take a leadership role with certain programs. Volunteers mush have completed Docent training to sign up for the activities below. Docent training is offered two times each year in the Fall and Spring. If you are interested in becoming a Docent, please contact the Biodiversity Education Center staff for more information:

Mission Statement
The BEC at CNP promotes and provides hands-on environmental education programs for both school and community, developing a deeper connection to nature.
Description
The Biodiversity Education Center offers a wide variety of community programs for all ages including environmental and gardening education classes, outdoor recreation, tours, and community improvement days. The Friends of the Coppell Nature Park, City of Coppell, Keep Coppell Beautiful, Coppell ISD, and Northlake College, work collectively to offer exceptional environmental education programs.
