About

Crisis line volunteers at ALIVE provide support to individuals calling for assistance - this can include completing a safety plan, providing information about victims’ legal rights, providing information about ALIVE’s services, answering questions that individual’s might have, making appropriate referrals, or scheduling an intake. ALIVE provides an appropriate and intensive training so that Crisis line volunteers will feel confident and well-informed, paired with staff support in times of need. Crisis line volunteers can assist by answering calls from their home, from the ALIVE office during peak call periods, or when ALIVE Crisis Intervention Specialists are unavailable.
