Hello!!! We are currently looking for youth state leads for our nonprofit Chi-Town GVP Summit. Chi-Town GVP Summit is a youth-run organization dedicated to helping activists working on gun violence prevention not associated with groups like everytown & March For Our Lives. By becoming a state lead you will take on responsibilities including; Organizing & Leading events in your region/state, recruiting members in your region/state, assisting national leadership in travel management to/from events & summit, and finally responsible for engaging community members, leaders & politicians from your state/region on the topic of gun violence prevention.

Chi-Town Gun Violence Prevention Summit aims to bring engaged and active youth together in an environment that stimulates creativity and inspiration so that they can collaborate and work towards a common goal of preventing gun violence -- especially focusing on youth in Chicago and youth of color that go unnoticed.

Description

Chi-Town GVP Summit is a youth-run and youth-led organization focused on getting youth involved in the gun violence prevention movement & support them through there involvement in the gun violence prevention movement, we provide youth with research, support, materials along with the summit we're planning for 2020 to help youth activists involved in the gun violence prevention movement.
