POSITION PROFILE : The Volunteer Leader will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the short term project of scanning invoices and related documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all un - scanned documents are scanned to the appropriate folder and in their complete entirety.
• Verify any missing invoices are scanned to the appropriate folder(s).

• Ensure current scans are complete.
• Shred documents once scanning is complete.
• Work with accounting staff as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education and Experience

• High School diploma
• 1 year of office experience, preferred

• Skill Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication

• Communicate effectively in English
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task/manage projects simultaneously

• Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time

• Ability to climb stairs and lift 20 lbs.

Requires heart for ministry and comfort working with poor and homeless families and individuals. Requires understanding of poverty, a high degree of maturity, strong inter-personal skills and the ability to work with low socio-economic and diverse populations facing crisis situations in a professional and diplomatic manner. Knowledge of community resources available to homeless population. Must demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity. Ability to work as part of a team within a multi-disciplinary framework.
