For the volunteer who likes to stay busy, House Refreshers help clean and organize the common areas, and clean and prepare guest rooms after families check out of the Ronald McDonald House. RMH is a home away from home for families whose children are hospitalized or receiving treatment locally. RMH offers a warm, safe place for families to stay with the accommodations of home. Guest families have access to private rooms, shared bathrooms, a living room, full kitchen, laundry room, library and playground.

This team is vital to providing a comfortable stay for our families, as the families and patient's needs require a clean environment.

House Refreshers often cover one 3-hour shift between 9am to 9pm on weekdays, on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis, but shifts may vary depending on volunteers schedule. Weekend shifts vary depending on volunteers availability.

Specific protocols are in place for COVID-19 including updated cleaning procedures, social distancing measures, and personal protective supplies such as masks and gloves are provided.
