FCS (Family & Children’s Service) strengthens, protects and preserves the dignity and independence of people in need. With 110 years of history, FCS is the oldest, private nonprofit social service agency in Monmouth County and a leading volunteer organization. Our busy Monmouth County agency is seeking a part-time home care clerical volunteer able to commit up to 16 hours a week within the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 am. Home Care Clerk will help in the daily operations of home health care services including clerical office work. Responsible for filing, faxing, photo copying, preparing clients packets of information and any other support needed within the program. performs all during in accordance with FCS values and Code of Conduct. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator and a team player.

Description
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
