Information Technology Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative direction and support for NAMI Clackamas IT needs
  • Ensures compliance and smooth running of all IT systems
  • Ensures the security of data from internal and external attack
  • Manages crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
  • Recommends and Optimizes software and configure hardware, peripherals, and settings
  • Is able to remotely log in during normal working hours to reset network computer when the Executive Director is on vacation or otherwise unavailable.

Information Technology Volunteer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems or a related business field preferred
  • Experience managing ongoing technology infrastructure acquisition and expansion, including the identification of emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of technical concepts and basic operating principles of data communications, hardware, software and vendor IT products
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills learn complex content quickly and apply it to project management responsibilities
  • Works great independently and on teams
  • Must be able to pass a background check
