Information Technology Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative direction and support for NAMI Clackamas IT needs
- Ensures compliance and smooth running of all IT systems
- Ensures the security of data from internal and external attack
- Manages crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
- Recommends and Optimizes software and configure hardware, peripherals, and settings
- Is able to remotely log in during normal working hours to reset network computer when the Executive Director is on vacation or otherwise unavailable.
Information Technology Volunteer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems or a related business field preferred
- Experience managing ongoing technology infrastructure acquisition and expansion, including the identification of emerging technologies
- Knowledge of technical concepts and basic operating principles of data communications, hardware, software and vendor IT products
- Outstanding problem-solving skills learn complex content quickly and apply it to project management responsibilities
- Works great independently and on teams
- Must be able to pass a background check
