Help your community! In this important role, you will serve meals to seniors, help prepare food, sign seniors in for daily lunches, and other tasks that make a HUGE difference in the lives of others. Your presence gives seniors companionship, trust, and the knowledge that someone cares.
At the Yucaipa location, 30 - 40 seniors enjoy the meals. Healthy lunches are served in locations all over Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. We especially need volunteers at Senior Centers in Yucaipa, Grand Terrace, Rialto, Fontana, Loma Linda, Mentone, Redlands, and Calimesa.
Volunteers are needed mornings between Mon - Fri, 9 AM and 1 PM. Shifts are 3- to 4- hours, one or more days per week on a regular basis. We also have one-time special events that groups can participate in for special days (Mother's/Father's Days, Thanksgiving, etc.). Family Service Association is one of the largest nonprofits in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties serving over 3,500 meals daily to seniors in need. With your help we can make this number grow!

Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
