Mission Statement

America in Bloom - St. Charles, IL is part of a nationwide effort, known as America in Bloom (AIB), to promote community beautification through education and citizen involvement by encouraging the use of flowers, plants, trees, and other environmental and lifestyle enhancements. The America in Bloom program focuses on ways to improve communities in several distinct areas, including heritage preservation, urban forestry and environmental initiatives. AIB empowers communities to beautify and to improve the overall quality of life through its National Awards Program and Annual Symposium & Awards Celebration.

Description

America in Bloom - St. Charles, IL is a collaborative effort between the City of St. Charles, St. Charles Park District, local organizations, and volunteers with the mission of improving St. Charles through floral displays, landscaped areas, environmental initiatives, and heritage preservation. We plant pride in our community through volunteerism with the goal of making St. Charles a welcoming and vibrant place to live, work and play. On October 3-5, 2019, St. Charles is hosting the national American in Bloom Annual Symposium & Awards Celebration. We are seeking volunteers to support symposium efforts to assure we make the best impression and provide our guest with an enjoyable visiting experience.
