Later this month, 500 youth poets and spoken word artists will be competing for the title of Grand Slam Champions at the 23rd Annual Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam Competition. Sign up today to judge a slam --> http://bit.ly/2019BNVJudge

Judges are one of our most critical roles in the slam; they help determine which poets will move onto bigger stages to be heard by bigger audiences. Judges should think of themselves as encouragers of the 13-19 year old writers. Please note that prior experience is not necessary for judging; we will provide you useful framework and guidelines to help this role become a great experience for you.
