Zoo New England's mission is to inspire people to protect and sustain the natural world for future generations by creating fun and engaging experiences that integrate wildlife and conservation programs, research, and education. Every year the Franklin Park Zoo partners with Highland Street Foundation to host a Free Fun Friday. Guests are welcome to come into the Zoo for free and see our animal ambassadors! We request volunteer help to direct the flow of traffic for our guests as many of our exhibit areas become one way to decrease congestion. Volunteer assistance is essential on this day to give our guests the best experience possible.

- Must be at least 18
- Volunteers arrive by 9:00 am and are assigned to a shift by 9:30 am. The Zoo opens at 10:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm. Volunteers get a lunch break in the middle of the day.
