MDA Toast to Life Galas provide an opportunity to connect and celebrate MDA’s mission in an inspirational event. Volunteers will meet families, donators, sponsors and vendors in an awe-inspiring event that fuels MDA’s mission of transforming the lives of kids and adults living with neuromuscular diseases.
As a volunteer, you will register attendees, assist with event set-up, support, and clean-up, engage in community outreach and help manage day of event activities.

Mission Statement
The local, MDA of Southeast Louisiana mission is to transform lives of those living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular disease. We serve over 1,300 families in parishes in Southeast Louisiana and Gulf Coast Mississippi by providing healthcare clinic services, equipment assistance, flu shots, support groups and Summer Camp for kids ages 8-17.

- Must be at least 18
- Set up shift is 3:30 pm till 6:30 pm, event shift is 5:30 pm until 10:30 pm. Specific taks will be assigned upon registration on the MDA Voluneer portal https://www.mda.org/get-involved/become-a-volunteer.
- Pre-registration required at https://www.mda.org/get-involved/become-a-volunteer. All volunteers will be asked to sign a consent waiver upon arrival. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
