Each year, thanks to the generosity of community, Family Service is able to provide school supplies for children and teens who need a little bit of help to have a successful back to school experience. Volunteers can assist in three ways:
- conducting an inventory of donated supplies
- tagging backpacks and clothing that have been donated, and moving donations to another location in our building for pickup by case managers;
- filling backpacks with grade-appropriate supplies, and placing backpacks in the specific case manager pickup location.
Volunteers are needed:
August 5 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM to count supplies on hand (3 openings)
August 9 from 1:30 - 4:00 PM to tag and move backpack/clothing donations (3 openings)
August 14 from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM to fill backpacks and place them in the pickup locations (2 openings)
