At MDA, families impacted by muscle disease are our heroes. Our Muscle Walks, 1 to 3.1-mile fundraising walks, give our communities an opportunity to come together and celebrate the courage and determination that binds us all together.
As a volunteer for the Southeast Louisiana Muscle Walk on October 17, 2020 at Lafreniere Park, you will have a variety of fun and inspiring options for participating in this event, including registration, set up, clean booth management, and walk route assistance.

Mission Statement
The local, MDA of Southeast Louisiana mission is to transform lives of those living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular disease. We serve over 1,300 families in parishes in Southeast Louisiana and Gulf Coast Mississippi by providing healthcare clinic services, equipment assistance, flu shots, support groups and Summer Camp for kids ages 8-17.

- Arrival 8 am for set up, and stay until tear down is complete, no later than pm. 5 service hours will be awarded upon request. Refreshments provided.
