Relay for Life

Are you looking to get more involved with your community and make a difference in the lives of others? We are looking for people to join our volunteer planning committee to help plan and coordinate Relay for Life which is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society!

Relay for Life is a community event where we celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back again cancer! Community members walk around the track and participate in games, activities, and other fundraisers that take place at the event.

We have committee roles for all types of experience levels, interests, and time availability. We have volunteer roles that vary from president, secretary, social media, marketing, graphic design, community outreach, donation solicitation, game/food/entertainment planning, logistics, securing sponsorship, mentoring, survivor outreach, event planning, and more! This is open to all ages. We are looking for a diverse volunteer committee since cancer affects everyone.

The minimum requirement is to come to our monthly meetings and have a passion for making a difference and desire to save more lives from cancer!

"Volunteers don't always have the time, but they have the heart!"

If you are interested, please reply to Victoria.Do@cancer.org to learn how to move forward and get involved!
