We are looking for compassionate individuals who would like to join our team of amazing hospice volunteers and help make a difference in the lives of our patients, their families and in our community. Hospice volunteers have the opportunity to interact directly with our patients in order to offer companionship and build meaningful relationships, among many other things! Volunteering for Heart 'n Home is an opportunity to learn about end of life as well as gain exposure to many different disciplines in the health care field including nursing and social work. Heart 'n Home provides care to patients who speak many different languages and we would love to be able to provide volunteer services for these patients as well. Spanish speaking volunteers are utilized most often but at times we also have patients who only speak German, Vietnamese, Arabic, etc. Contact us today to get started and help make a difference in someone's life!
