During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
The starting point of our support is treating every person as an individual.
Our City Centre Project is where we care for some of the most vulnerable people in Glasgow. Homeless people, those in addiction or poverty, women involved in prostitution, victims of violence and abuse, people fleeing persecution overseas and now seeking asylum or refugee status in the UK, and those from deprived communities can all find a place of safety and the beginnings of a new life.
You will be serving with a dedicated team, witnessing the joy of lives transformed, and participating in a practical expression of Christian mission.

We work with adults and children who are vulnerable and disadvantaged in Glasgow, people that are often leading chaotic or difficult lives. We want to help them to break free from their oppressive situations. That situation may involve: homelessness, addiction, poverty, family breakdown, prostitution, emotional issues, fleeing persecution overseas and now seeking asylum - or maybe all of these. We do this through our City Centre, Child & Family Centre, and Glasgow Winter Night Shelter projects as Christians who are passionate about the people that look to us for help. We want to share a message of hope and aim to have compassion for these individuals.
Glasgow City Mission is the world’s first City Mission. Since 1826, we have been showing Christian care to vulnerable adults and children by fighting against poverty and disadvantage in Glasgow.
We'll work with your schedule.
