We are looking for Hospitality Volunteers to run the concession stands during our showings of Shoggoths on the Veldt. Hospitality Volunteers are in charge of setting up concessions an hour before the show, selling concessions before the show and during intermission, and closing up concessions and the lobby after the show. We're looking for at least one volunteer for each performance, two if possible. The second can assist with ushering and/or keeping the traffic flowing at the concessions counter.
All volunteers are required to arrive ONE HOUR before the show starts and are expected to complete all volunteer duties before leaving the theatre. If you have never volunteered for Dragon Theatre before, there is a short training session that will require you to arrive 15 min early to your first shift. Hospitality Volunteers will have a seat reserved for the shift they volunteer so they can enjoy the show for free. There is no particular dress code; we just ask that you use your best judgment.
**Please provide a replacement if you need to back out within four days of your chosen date. Because we depend upon our volunteers, those who repeatedly cancel last-minute will be removed from our volunteer lists. Thanks! (If you no longer wish to be on our volunteer lists, please email tickets@dragonproductions.net .)
