During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
At the Cleveland Hope Lodge, we do not have televisions in the individual guest rooms- we like to encourage our guests to socialize with other patients and caregivers during their stay. We feel that the bonding and shared experiences can help in their recovery. Hosting events and activities is an integral part of the Hope Lodge mission. It helps to give our guests something to take their mind off their daily struggles, and by involving volunteers and student groups we hope to engage the community while enriching the lives of our guests.
Activities can include arts and crafts projects, games, baking, music performances, dinner , movie night, and many more. Volunteers are encouraged to share their special talents with Hope Lodge Guests.
This opportunity is mainly available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Activities generally start around 7pm.

The American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge is helping cancer patients, and their caregivers, GET WELL by taking away the extra emotional and financial burden of finding a place to stay during an already challenging time. Hope Lodge is not just a place to stay. It's A HOME AWAY FROM HOME - a place of encouragement and support from fellow patients and a place where caring volunteers from the community decorate for the holidays and host fun activities such as potluck dinners, musical performances, scrapbooking events, bingo, and game and movie nights.
The American Cancer Society is saving lives and creating more birthdays by helping you stay well, helping you get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.
We'll work with your schedule.
