Cooking Up Hope at the Cleveland Hope Lodge

Provide the food and cook a meal for approximately 40 patients and caregivers staying at the Cleveland Hope Lodge. A prepared dinner allow guests to come back from a long day of treatment without having to worry about cooking a meal for themselves. Just like mealtime at home, it gathers everyone together and allows them to spend quality time talking and bonding with each other and fellow guests.

Dinner is usually planned for 6 PM. When you arrive is up to you and depends on what you are preparing and how it is being cooked. Some groups bring the food pre-cooked and simply warm it in the Lodge's kitchen. Others cook all of the meals on site from scratch. It is done both ways. There are five ovens and five stoves each with four burners. There is a huge assortment of pots, pans and utensils. There are also five microwaves and an ice machine. Coffee and tea are available for the guests so you do not need to worry about that. You can arrive as early in the day as you want or need to. We can provide a guide upon further request.

Dinners are generally requested for Monday-Thursday evenings, but we also can have dinners on the weekend- just the group size would be smaller.

After all the guests have gone through the line you are more than welcome to grab a plate and join them- please just add your group size to the amount of food you are preparing. We would also love to give your group a tour of Hope Lodge so you can love the Lodge as much as we do!
