RBC Race for the Kids is Saturday, August 3rd at Upper Landing Park in St. Paul, MN. This exciting event includes half marathon, 10 mile, 5 mile, 5k, relay and inline skate race as well as the Family Walk. All proceeds from the Family Walk benefit the Ronald McDonald Charities, Upper Midwest.
Volunteers are needed to ensure the RBC Race for the Kids is a success for all participants. Volunteers shifts are as follows:
Event Shift 1 - 6am to 10am
Event Shift 2 - 7:30am to 12:30pm
Kids Zone - 7:30am to 12:30pm
Event Volunteers will assist with event set-up, registration, directing participants and tear town.
Kids Zone Volunteers will assist with children's games and activities at the RMH Kids Zone.
All three of these opportunities are active and outdoors. T-shirt, coffee, water and snacks will be provided!

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness.
Description
We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors. Services include:
- Lodging
- Meals
- Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries
- Laundry facilities
- An accredited K-12 school
- Workout facilities
- Supportive, family-focused programming
We take care of all these things so families can focus on the well-being of their child.
