Children who have experienced abuse or neglect in Santa Maria and Lompoc are waiting to be matched with a CASA volunteer...
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children recruits, trains and supports citizen-volunteers, like YOU to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities. Volunteer advocates--empowered directly by the courts--offer judges the critical information they need to ensure that each child’s rights and needs are being recognized and respected while in foster care.
Volunteers are matched one-on-one with a child and stay in contact with that child until they are reunited with their family or placed in loving permanent forever home. For many abused and/or neglected children living in the foster care system, a CASA volunteer is the only constant adult presence in their lives.
If you are ready to make a once in a lifetime difference for a child in need, CASA is the right volunteer opportunity for you. Contact us today to attend one of our information sessions.
