Coming up! Mobile Pet Clinic in Independence (8/24)

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Pet Resource Center of Kansas City

We're so excited for our next off-site vaccination clinic! If you're new to our mobile clinics, let us fill you in. Our outreach staff and volunteers travel all over Kansas City to reach the pets and owners most in need of our services. There are lots of folks who can't make it in to our clinic, or can't easily afford the prices offered there (even though they're already low-cost). So we go to them! We bring vets, techs, and a van full of supplies to set up right there in the neighborhood, and offer affordably-priced vaccinations.

Can you help us bring these services to the dogs and cats who need them the most? Volunteers help greet and hand out forms, scan pets for microchips, fill out forms, cashier, hand out treats, and more. Volunteers must be 18 or older and must have reliable transportation. The clinic is open to the public from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Volunteers must be present from 8:00 am-1:00 pm to help with set up and clean up.

Consider this a unique opportunity to meet us, see what we're all about and decide if you want to become a regular member of our volunteer team. If you join in and decide to keep volunteering, you'll be invited to attend an orientation, where you'll receive your official SNKC t-shirt and volunteer handbook, and learn even more about what we do and how you can help. We want you on our team!
