This system would provide a client interface to process monthly food program claims that supplement food costs for child care professionals in all 87 counties in Minnesota. As a Food Program Sponsor of USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Providers Choice ensures that children and adults in care receive balanced, nutritious meals and snacks they may not otherwise have access. Providers Choice, Inc. is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Minnesota since 1985. Providers Choice processes reimbursable food program claims for child and adult day care programs and at-risk afterschool sites. As a leader in children’s nutritious health and well-being, Providers Choice delivers on an education and training platform with field monitor oversight, providing technical assistance and support on behalf of the child care professional.

Providers Choice is looking for a Full-Stack developer with experience in building web-based systems using C# with asp.net on the .net framework. The application and database will be hosted on a Windows Server platform with a MSSQL Server database. The system will be mobile-device friendly using bootstrap responsive design techniques.. Providers Choice has completed a thorough project analysis and has compiled a thorough document detailing the project’s scope of work, technical specifications and functional requirements. As part of our expertise, we have an IT professional on staff who is ready to lead and coordinate this project immediately.

We are in the process of organizing this extensive project into smaller projects for volunteers. Projects might include working on the bootstrap responsive design mobile-device friendly functionality for the site or working on one of the many modules including the development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality. The work would need to be completed on-site at the Providers Choice office in Minnetonka during the weekday hours of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Hours are flexible within this time period.
