Monument Youth Drug & Alcohol Coalition in Concord, CA.

What do coalitions do?

Mission Statement
Monument Youth Drug & Alcohol Coalition (MYDAC) works to reduce youth alcohol and other drug use in Concord & prevent substance use related issues by working toward community education and engagement, policy change and advocacy.
Description
Do you have a passion for building safety and health in your neighborhood? Become a force for positive change in the health of your community.
We are seeking Concord residents who want to make a difference by working together to address underage drug and alcohol use. MYDAC strives to reflect the community that we serve by working with youth, parents, educators, faith-based organizations, local businesses, policy makers, and law enforcement. MYDAC members provide a voice in selecting the best prevention strategies to help their communities reduce substance abuse. MYDAC meetings are open to community members to learn more about public policy, local government, community education, and substance-use prevention.
When you join MYDAC you will help to:
