At WiNGS we help to empower women, fight poverty, and impact generations. Women’s Enterprise Center (WEC) focuses on providing women with the resources to become successful entrepreneurs through business plan training, business development workshops and access to capital.
The Legal Entities Workshop Facilitator provides topic based education during the Business Development component; lending their expertise to further WEC members entrepreneurships skills and knowledge.
Knowledge/Skills required:Are you a small business legal entities expert? Or maybe you have never owned your own business, but you have experience from real business world? Would you like to share your expertise and facilitate legal classes? 3 years professional work experience in Legal Entities.
- General business law, general counsel for small to mid size companies
- Experience applying business law to small companies in Texas
- Experience setting up or advising company entities
- Experience enforcing or advising legal business compliance
- Knowledge of business law, Texas entity types, and some tax implications
- At least two years practicing business law
- Curriculum, handouts and activities
- Ongoing support
- Networking opportunities with fellow volunteers

Our volunteers make up an essential part of our programing. By volunteering their time and knowledge as class facilitators. WiNGS offers both online and virtual classes to our members in areas of Financial Resilience, Career Advancement, and Personal Development.
