Hospice of the Chesapeake

Pet therapy is proven to reduce pain, anxiety, and depression. It provides a unique layer of support for our patients and their families that lead to smiles, laugher, and an increase in positive feelings.

We need dedicated and compassionate volunteers to join our robust Healing Arts Program with their four-legged, Canine Companions to visit our patients and their family members.

If your dog is not certified, but you would like to get them certified, please contact us for information on how to do so. All dogs must be certified prior to working with patients.
