Hospice of the Chesapeake

We are looking for compassionate and caring people to volunteer with Hospice patient's in Prince George's and Anne Arundel Counties.

It takes only a small amount of time to make a big difference in a person's life. Patient Care Volunteers serve in a variety of ways to assist patients and family members. Whether it be spending time reading a book, watching TV, chatting with a patient or providing respite for a caregiver, volunteers play a critical role in helping give our patients and their loved ones the best possible care.

There's no better feeling than knowing that you have helped someone at the end of his/her life.

Patient Care Volunteers do not bathe, feed or assist with toileting patients. You are there for companionship - all you need is a loving heart and a listening ear.
Free online training provided.
